Privacy Notice
How ByteRains handles website enquiries.
Who to contact
This notice describes information handled by the ByteRains website contact form. For privacy questions or requests about your information, please use our contact form.
Information collected
When you submit an enquiry, we receive your name, email address, enquiry type and message, together with any organisation or profile link you choose to provide. The service also records the receipt time, your acceptance of this notice and its version, and delivery status.
The service uses your network IP address to limit repeated submissions and protect the form from abuse. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information, passwords or confidential account details through this form.
How it is handled
We use enquiry information to review and respond to your request, route it to the relevant team, and operate and protect the contact service. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
We store enquiries and send notifications to the ByteRains enquiry mailbox using Microsoft 365. Hosting and email service providers process information needed for these functions.
Retention and requests
The operator manages retention of enquiry information. The service supports configurable retention and deletion controls. The application does not require you to create an account.
Contact us if you want to ask what enquiry information is held, correct information, or request deletion. We may need enough information to identify the relevant enquiry and verify that the request relates to you.
Where information is processed
Enquiries are stored by our website hosting provider and notifications are delivered through Microsoft 365. These providers may process information on servers located outside India, under their own security and contractual safeguards.
Your rights and grievances
You can ask to access a summary of the enquiry information we hold about you, to correct or complete it, or to have it erased, and you can withdraw your agreement for us to keep processing it. Send these requests and any grievance about how we handled your information via our contact form.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Notice version
This notice is version 2026-10-05. The contact form records that version when you accept it. Please check this page before sending another enquiry.
